The commercial logic for an agency

Traditional agency income is per transaction: a sale happens, commission is earned, and the relationship waits for the next one. Technology sales work differently — once a developer adopts the system, the relationship runs across the project.

The second benefit is less visible but more valuable: an agency that recommends technology moves from being the party that sells to being the party that designs the sales process. That position makes winning project mandates and improving terms easier.

Third: on a project where a digital twin is deployed, your own sales performance improves too — you can walk your own buyers through it.

Who you sell to

These profiles in or around your portfolio are the direct target audience:

  • Developers building residential schemes — particularly multi-block, multi-type projects
  • Projects selling off-plan without a show apartment yet
  • Developers targeting overseas buyers
  • Teams running sales on spreadsheets and messaging apps, with inventory collisions
  • Firms selling multiple phases at once and struggling with reporting

What is expected of you

The partnership does not require you to be a technology expert. Three things are expected: recognising the right firm, opening the first conversation and managing the relationship.

MPANDO's team joins the technical discovery meeting. Scope, pricing and delivery plan are produced by MPANDO. You remain the owner of the client relationship throughout.

  • Recognise the right developer and make first contact
  • Run the introductory meeting (material and training provided)
  • Be present alongside the client in the technical meeting
  • Manage the relationship through the process

Which track fits an agency

Two tracks usually stand out for agencies.

Commission partnership is the natural start for agencies with regular developer contacts: no entry fee, no target, commission when a sale closes.

Exclusive regional distribution suits agencies that are recognised in their city, have a sales team and an established corporate structure — it brings exclusive rights and a higher revenue share.

For consultants whose main business is elsewhere, the referral programme fits better: an introduction is enough.
