The five-layer setup
In a well-designed sales office, technology answers each stage of the buyer journey with one layer.
- 01 · Presentation screen: the walkable twin on a large screen driven by the representative — the backbone of the meeting
- 02 · Kiosk: a touch screen in the waiting area; buyers explore on their own before their turn
- 03 · Unit-selection screen: block/floor/type filtering with live inventory and pricing
- 04 · Sales-system connection: unbroken flow from the selected unit into offer, payment plan and reservation
- 05 · Take-home link: the browser link sent after the meeting — the experience continues at home
Screen and hardware decisions
The deciding question in hardware is not resolution but meeting layout: how many people look at once, and from where does the representative drive?
The main screen must be large enough for the buyer and companions to view comfortably, with the representative seated beside them. A real-time twin needs a machine with a capable graphics card behind the main screen; the kiosk side needs a touch display and a simplified interface.
Two details routinely missed: lighting design (glare kills the presentation) and redundancy (an office hanging off one PC sells nothing on the day it fails).
The single-source principle
The most critical rule of sales office technology is not about hardware: the screen, the kiosk, the price list and the representative's tablet must show the same information.
That is only possible when every surface reads the same inventory record. In an MPANDO setup that record is Sales OS: when a unit is reserved, its state changes on the presentation screen, the kiosk and the selection screen simultaneously. A buyer who saw a unit as available on the kiosk and hears "sold" at the desk loses trust in one stroke.
The second rule is continuity: moving from the selected unit to the offer must not switch systems. Re-searching the liked unit in another program breaks the meeting's strongest moment.
Common setup mistakes
The typical patterns where sales office technology investment goes to waste:
- Installing the screen without the content: a looping film is not a walkable experience
- Running the full twin on the kiosk: buyers get lost; kiosks need a simplified flow
- A selection screen without live inventory: a hand-updated screen goes stale within weeks
- Skipping representative training: an unconfident representative shuts the screen and reaches for the catalogue
- No post-meeting link: without it, the experience stays in the office
